Benefit of Stem Cell Augmentation

There are many benefits to natural breast augmentation using stem cells as opposed to the surgical silicone or saline filled implants. Following is a synopsis of some differences in the two and the many benefits of going natural.

There are several side effects that can occur with the silicone or saline filled breast implants. These implants can leak leading to additional surgeries. Replacement is often necessary although the lifespan of the implants varies depending on several factors. The natural augmentation method is seen as a more permanent fix.

Loss of sensation is not a problem using natural augmentation methods whereas it does affect some patients who opt for the saline or silicone implants. There is a less invasive procedure done in the case of natural augmentation, leading to less complication with breast function post procedure.

In addition, a traditional mammogram will not work for saline or silicone implant augmentation. The medical staff performing the mammogram will need to adjust for the implants by taking a different view. Even with this third view, there is still a higher incidence of false negatives on mammograms with women who have breast implantation verses those who don’t. However, the disease stage at which breast cancer is detected is not significantly different according to studies conducted.

There is not much data published on the difference in cost between the silicone and saline implants verses the stem cell assisted augmentation. Those details can be determined when a practitioner is contacted. Because the stem cell assisted augmentation method uses all natural components, the recovery time is much shorter than the recovery time using the silicone or saline implants. This is a factor when determining overall costs involved since time is money.

Finally, there exist dual benefits from the stem cell assisted natural augmentation method. Unwanted fat tissue is removed from one site of the body where it is a nuisance and transplanted to the breast area where it benefits the patient. It could very well fix two problems in one surgery making for a win-win scenario.
